If I could tell the world just one thing, it would be that we are all okay; and not to worry cuz worry is wasteful and useless in times like these. Poverty stole your golden shoes, but it did not steal your laughter; And heartache came to visit me but I knew it wasnt ever after.. In the end, only kindness matters

My uncle Mike has been in the NAVY for the past twenty something years.
This morning he got called to duty. He leaves for Kuwait in March, and will be gone for a year.

Why cant somebody just rip out my heart and tear it all to peices? It might be an improvement on the feelings I have right now. This holiday season has been the worst in my life, and it is not over yet.

It all started with Thanksgiving turning into a nightmare. Then my grandparents virtually disowned me for something my mother did. And now, my uncle has to leave for war. I wonder how christmas is going to go this year. My mom and Dan at home, while my aunt, uncle, cousins, grandparents and sister and I bump around pretending to be happy for the cameras and then give eachother presents we would much rather beat eachother over the heads with. What ever happened to the holidays bringing families closer?
