As you read this, keep in mind that we will definately be using a more secure collection area than a shoe box. We will most likely start a bank account and send out the donated money weekly or bi-weekly to the Angel Network foundation

G: hillary, i know this is a really weird question but it's very important for me to ask

L: ive heard it all ;)
G: there is a horrible aids epidemic in africa and thousands, growing onto become millions of people are dying from it, and most of the nation has no clue this is going on. our own government is reluctant to provide them with medication or help them in any way even though we are an economic drain on their peoples. would you maybe want to donate a small amount of money to a foundation who's goal is to ease this epedemic, aid the children and parents affected, and help set up aids educational programs?
G: literally, like five or ten dollars
L: yeah
L: but I have a question
G: i'm trying to get as much money to donate as i can because at this point there are only very young people and very old people in south africa because everyone else has been wiped out by the disease
G: yah go ahead
L: how will they aid people
L: because there is no cure
L: I would rather give money to them if it was as an educational effort
LEctRIcbuLLRIdER: because it will teach the uninfected people about how the disease is acquired
G: in africa, they have absolutely no medication to help those with aids. there are meds available that can prolong peoples lives or at least dull their suffering, and the african people don't have those at all, they are forced to sit and suffer through it all. they don't even know what aids is, or how they can get it, and their children remain uneducated
L: or if it was going to be going towards birth control methods being available to people
G: that would be fine, the foundation is through oprah, lol i know incredibly cheesy, but it's extremely legitimate and will supply money directly to those who need it
G: i'm just taking a collection, it will supply them with proper medications, educational tools, and all sorts of aids protection
L: oh yeah definately
L: Ill ask people to donate too
G: and it supplies money to poor orphanges for those children who have aids and were orphaned by it

G: yah i was thinking of getting you me katrina and sam involved and we can sort of do it through reb time, collect the money in a shoe box and ask everyone to ask through donations. the reb-time thing is just convenient since we will see each other and it can sort of be organized
G: we can ask everyone we know and put all the money together during rebtime
L: yea good idea
L: lets do that
L: we need to make flyers or something tho
G: yah i was thinking about that
G: i was thinking at this point we should just sort of talk to people about it and research informaion about aids over the break and then talk to mr. delligan about it monday. that week we can make flyers and talk to the kids in reb-time about it and then collect from there
L: yeah
